Core Features
MDO polyethylene film enables full PE-to-PE lamination for fully recyclable single-material flexible packaging. Product Overview
This stretched PE substrate delivers robust mechanical properties to safeguard packaged items across diverse flexible packaging scenarios. Visual & Mechanical Benefits
High stiffness and tensile strength guarantee reliable protection, paired with superior transparency for premium in-store product display. Processing & Eco Performance
Supports high-definition gravure printing and precise die-cutting, facilitating efficient production while boosting packaging circular sustainability.
MDO PE film, short for Machine Direction Orientation Polyethylene film, differs from biaxially oriented polyethylene variants. It is produced by heating, stretching, annealing and cooling molten PE resin along the machine direction, which greatly optimizes the film’s overall physical performance and makes it an ideal single-material flexible packaging solution. This material enables full PE-to-PE lamination, solving the recycling dilemma of traditional multi-material composite packaging and meeting global sustainable packaging regulatory requirements.
It stands out for high tensile strength, reliable barrier performance, high transparency and glossy surface together with excellent printability, making it widely adopted in food, pharmaceutical packaging as well as sanitary fields such as baby diapers and adult care products. Featuring outstanding forming and converting adaptability, the film runs smoothly on most mainstream packaging machines to produce lid films, pillow bags, four-side sealed bags and stand-up pouches.
Our R&D team has developed diversified grades including high-barrier, matte and ALOx coated MDO PE film customized for paper-plastic composite dairy packaging scenarios. Every batch undergoes strict performance testing to guarantee stable stiffness, barrier and printing effects. We provide free sample support and one-stop customized technical solutions to help global brands achieve recyclable, low-carbon packaging upgrading.
